Hatha yoga is a path toward creating balance and uniting opposites. It uses bodily postures (asanas), breathing techniques (pranayama), and meditation (dyana) with the goal of bringing about a healthy body and a clear, peaceful mind. Hatha yoga is a powerful tool for self-transformation. It asks us to bring our attention to our breath, which helps us to still the fluctuations of the mind and be more present in the unfolding of each moment.
Taught by certified Vinyasa and Restorative Yoga instructor Fernanda Mastani (Learn more about Fernanda) this 6-class workshop includes meditation, pranayama breathing and asanas for any level of experience. The classes are taught in a profoundly playful way in english and/or spanish, partnered with Fernanda's understanding of therapeutic alignment.
Hatha Yoga Workshop is a 6-class event, taught every Saturday from 11am to 12pm starting on April 14th. Although this workshop is a continuous event, people are welcome to register online for a single class.*
